The wedge tail eagle (Aquila audax) is the largest bird of prey in Australia and one of the apex predators at Goondicum. These magnificent raptors can be seen soaring to great heights, made easy by their powerful wings that are more than 2m from tip to tip, where they have a full view across the property and can use their keen eyes to spot wallabies, possums, other birds – basically anything that they can carry away is fair game!
